From the Controller of Examination's Desk

Controller of Examintaion

The Controller of Examinations (COE) administers all aspects related to the conduct of examinations by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for all the programmes offered by University campuses, Constituent and affiliated colleges, Capacity Enhancement Institutes, Open Distance Learning and Online Studies department. This wing controls registration of students, examination scheduling and datesheet management, coordination in printing and publishing of question paper, conducting examination, answer script collection and evaluation, result processing and declaration, re-evaluation of answer scripts and grievances, management of all sorts of examination records and digital tabulation of data related to examination.

The Controller of Examinations also ensures that all the examinations are conducted according to the schedule outlined in the academic calendar as specified by the university authorities. Additionally, guidelines issued by the UGC pertaining to the conduct of examinations from time to time are also implemented and the required amendments in various ordinances are also taken care off.
