Deputy Registrar (Finance)
The Finance Officer administers Finance and Accounts Department of the University, which is mainly concerned with the Income and Expenditure. The Accounts Department ensures that the expenditure is incurred as per financial
rules, regulations and GFR rules. It keeps track of all the Grants received and ensures that the same are utilized as per the guidelines issued by funding agency. The Accounts Department also ensures compliance of both direct/ indirect taxes
regimes in day to day business.
The department prepares Receipts and Payments Accounts under the instructions of Government of Punjab and the same are audited/admitted by the Local Audit Department of Government of Punjab.
