Admission will be made on the basis of All India Rank of JEE(Main)-2018 for both 85% quota for resident of Punjab and 15% quota for outside Punjab. Application for admission shall be submitted only online as per the admission schedule uploaded on GNDU admissions website

Department of Mechanical Engineering is working actively in the area of Fault Diagnosis and Condition monitoring of electromechanical systems. One research project has been awarded to one of the faculty members of the department from DST-SERB for three years in the above-mentioned area. Department is also looking into the potential benefits of using high temperature thermal spray coatings on turbine blades.
